Welcome to Buddeat, the ultimate matchmaking platform designed for post-secondary students. We recognize the importance of friendship during these years and we believe that eating together can facilitate these introductions. We aim to provide students with a means of connecting with other individuals looking for friends, comrades, or even someone to talk to. Sign up for Buddeat today and embrace new experiences with meal buddies at your local institution!
How it Works
Sign up for Buddeat using your institutional email address (e.g. @brocku.ca). and submit your responses at the latest by 11:59 pm EST on Friday each week to participate in each cycle. It should take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
Step 1: Registration
Pairing between students commences weekly during the weekend. We are experimenting with various ML/AI algorithms in these early iterations of Buddeat. Thank you for your understanding!
Step 2: Matchmaking
Once matches are finalized, students will receive an email regarding their matchmaking status. Successful matches are given their buddeat's name and basic information like their email address. Feel free to reach out, converse, and perhaps meet up at the school cafeteria!
Step 3: Connect!
